  1. Valve needs to sell them at brick and mortar retailers. Faster and more convenient way to buy them than risk having your Deck stolen by a FedEx employee.

    Still can't buy on Amazon.
    Still can't walk into a brick and mortar and pick one up.
    They are announcing this to re-capture fed up fans who are tired of waiting and would be cancelling orders and buying a Switch or something else.

  3. No you can't. I'm in a country where Valve still isn't offering the Deck. Order page still has "reserve now" buttons on each model. To make matters worse the buttons are greyed out.
