Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi Did What Even The Clone Wars Couldn't

The animated sequence Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi could also be a really completely different beast from the comics that share its identify, but it surely brings one thing very important to the desk. The first season does one thing even Star Wars: The Clone Wars by no means fairly managed by lending new depth and perception into Count Dooku. It lastly makes good on Episode III’s promise that the Clone Wars was full of heroic characters on each side of the battle.

That alone is sufficient to make this sequence a must-watch for Prequel followers. Let’s discover how the sequence is ready to add a lot to this enigmatic Star Wars villain.

Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi is created by Dave Filoni and options the voices of Corey Burton as Dooku and Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano. The sequence is streaming now on Disney +.

  1. All these spinoffs are possible because of the great writing of the prequel movies. Unresolved plots like who deleted the kamino files and Boba Fett's kid watching his dad die allow future shows to address them.

  2. I'm so happy to see dooku's motivation get the attention it never had.
I feel that his flip to the dark side was a bit abrupt though.
I wish Clone Wars did more for his character than leave him as just the bad guy.

  3. you know how they say the dark side can corrupt your body, compare clone wars animation dooku to tales of the jedi lmao. my dudes head got belted a cement mixer powered by the dark side

  4. Did you forget all the Clone Wars episodes dealing with the Separatist Senators and Padme. They already showed how Dooku was a driving force during the war and all the Separatist systems looked to him. That's where they tried to show "heroes on both sides." It's pretty hard to show battle droids and tactical droid commanders as "heroic."

  5. Clone Wars did deal with The Heroes on Both Sides things. In one episode we meet Padmé’s mentor Mina Bonteri who is a Separatist but wants to have peace with the Republic. This guy makes it sound like the series didn’t do that.

  6. 3:55 THAST BCS THIS IS SPECIFICALY FOCUSED ON HIM!! STAR WARS CLONE WARS ISNT FOCUSED ON HIM BCS THAT WASNT THE POINT NOR IT WAS FOCAL POINT!! STAR WARS CLONE WARS WAS BROADER AND WAS TRYING TO SHOW AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE AND ASM MANY EVENTS AS POSSIBLE!!!! ITS SO OBVIOUS YET IGN REVIEWER MAKES IT LIEK YTHE CLONE WARS WAS ABOUT ONE CHARACER WHNE IT WAS NEVER THAT AT ALL….

  7. Tales of the Jedi is an extension of the Clone Wars as The Clone Wars is an extension of the Prequels. IGN is as usual goofy ASF pertaining to Star Wars.

  8. All these years, fans should know that Star Wars have style in story telling that holds a tradition in films and Tv.
Dooku has a backstory but the focus was with Skywalker in the movies. Dooku is considered the former Jedi that became a Sith villain .

  9. Hopefully Season two is more consistent… The first was a mess in tone and art style… Why did Yaddle look SO different from Yoda? They should have updated Yoda’s character design from the Clone Wars series…
