High on Life reviewed by Travis Northup on Xbox Series X|S, additionally accessible on PC.
The newest from Rick and Morty creator Justin Roiland’s Squanch Games, this irreverent, absurd shooter manages to shine with its outrageous humor, foolish setting, and a few actually goofy, foul-mouthed weapons that pull the entire thing collectively. Combat is a bit sloppy, particularly in the course of the first act, and the entire sci-fi journey typically has an unpolished really feel to it, however when you get some extra instruments of destruction and motion choices, it rises to the event.
