Henry Cavill Won't Be Returning As Superman

Barely two months after Henry Cavill introduced he can be returning to the function of Superman, subsequently stepping again from Netflix’s The Witcher collection, the actor has shared that he will not be returning to play the DC superhero, really. The information comes as James Gunn introduced his first Superman challenge, which might give attention to the hero in his youthful years.

In his first large transfer since stepping as much as lead DC’s cinematic universe James Gunn can be writing a Superman prequel movie that can comply with a younger Clark Kent throughout his time as a Daily Planet reporter, THR stories.

“In the initial stages, our story will be focusing on an earlier part of Superman’s life, so the character will not be played by Henry Cavill,” Gunn defined. “But we just had a great meeting with Henry and we’re big fans and we talked about a number of exciting possibilities to work together in the future.”

The information was confirmed by Cavill in an Instagram publish, who expressed disappointment in regards to the choice, noting he had been “told by the studio to announce my return back in October, prior to their hire.” Cavill’s model of the assembly sounds a bit of extra conclusive, with the actor saying that he “will, after all, not be returning as Superman.”

The information will come as a disappointment to followers who had been anticipating to see Cavill return as Superman within the close to future, after he appeared within the post-credit scene for Black Adam.
