The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is being written by Nakaba Suzuki. Before starting work on the title, he wrote Seven Deadly Sins, which became one of the most famous anime series in the world. The story of the Seven Deadly Sins is focused on Meliodas and six other powerful knights who save Britannia from various catastrophes.

After the story wrapped up, Suzuki began writing The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse. The manga has sold fairly well, and the release of the anime will surely cause sales to increase. In an announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the official account of the Seven Deadly Sins revealed that the anime adaptation of The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is going to air on October 8, 2023. The anime is being produced by Telecom Animation Film.

The anime adaptation was announced in May 2022. Maki Odaira (Naruto Shippuden, Food War) is serving as the director, while Shigeru Murakoshi (Kakegurui, Dark Gathering) is on the scripts. Youichi Takada (Soul Eater, Tower of God) and Kohta Yamamoto (Attack on Titan, Kingdom, 86) will be handling character designs and music composition, respectively.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse began serializing in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in January 2021. So far, a total of 13 volumes have been released, with more set to follow.

Nakaba Suzuki is known for writing the Seven Deadly Sins, a series that earned plenty of plaudits from both manga and anime fans. Not only did the title include a great story, but it also had outstanding characters. The first season of the anime was incredible and received plenty of positive attention. However, fans felt let down by the subsequent seasons. They will be hoping that The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse will get better treatment than its predecessor.

The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse is set many years after the disbandment of the Seven Deadly Sins. It follows Percival, a young boy who learns that it is his fate to bring about the destruction of the world. He also discovers that he will join a group of four knights. Due to this reason, Percival is hounded by the army of Camelot. With no other option, the young boy begins his journey to find the other knights. However, Percival is not alone during his travels, as he is joined by Lancelot, the son of the legendary Ban.
