Paramount Pictures has launched the ultimate trailer for Scream 6. The highly-anticipated sequel will hit theaters this weekend on March 10.
After the latest Ghostface killings, the 4 survivors depart Woodsboro behind and begin someplace new. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (Sam Carpenter), Jasmin Savoy Brown (Mindy Meeks-Martin), Mason Gooding (Chad Meeks-Martin), Jenna Ortega (Tara Carpenter), Hayden Panettiere (Kirby Reed), and Courteney Cox (Gale Weathers) return to their roles within the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving. James Vanderbilt and Guy Busick additionally returned to write down the script–a successful crew that steered 2022’s Scream to earn $30.6 million in its opening weekend.
Although critic opinions aren’t but printed for the Scream 6, this new trailer options pull quotes praising the film from Bloody Disgusting, Daily Dead, The Movie Podcast, Apollo Media, and different shops.
Ortega and Barrera have talked about how way more violent and gory this movie is than the earlier ones, with Ortega saying that “this is probably the most aggressive and violent version of Ghostface we’ve ever seen.” Which, in flip, has led to hypothesis that the film could be leaning into gore, shock worth, or “torture porn” conventions.
